Solomon .A. Aderoju is a professional banker with more than 25 years cognate experience. He began his banking career in UBA PLC, in 1983 and worked in the bank for 14 years performing managerial functions in Retail, Branch Banking, Corporate Banking, Credit Structuring, Credit Risk Management and Division of the bank.
He left in December 1997 to join Equatorial Trust Bank (Now Sterling Bank Plc) as the Group Head in charge of market branches in Lagos Island which include Idumota, Ereko, Enu-owa, Balogun, Idumagbo, and Oke-Arin markets. In January 2000, he joined CMC international, a Credit Management Consulting Company as the General Manager, Investment and Structured Projects, performing Multi-disciplinary Consultancy services for Corporate Organizations, Banks and Foreign Investors.
He left for Inter Trust Ltd; a Finance and Investment Company as its Chief Operating officer in 2003 and resigned in December 2007 to establish a CONSULTING outfit with other professional Colleagues. As at now, he is the MD/CEO of SATOKAD IMPERIAL RESOURCES LTD, a multi-functional business outfit that engage in financial, management and investment consulting services.
In addition, he serves as a regular facilitator for some Financial Institutions, training outfits, consulting firms such as G.T Bank Plc, Access Bank Plc, IBFC Alliance, Consortium for Africa Studies (CFA), Chartered Institute of Bankers Nigeria, Institute of Portfolio Management, among others. He was also trained as a Microfinance Certification Programme Trainer by Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to train Microfinance Banks Operators in Nigeria.
Solomon A. Aderoju, a graduate of Banking and Finance having attended Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, South-West geo-political zone of Nigeria; qualified as a Chartered Banker (ACIB) in April 1994. He also holds M.Sc Finance from Crescent University Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria.
He is a FELLOW and once a Governing Council member of The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), as well as a FELLOW and serving Governing Council member of Institute of Portfolio Management of Nigeria (Chartered). He is also an Associate Member of Institute of Credit Administration (ICA). He is currently the Chairman, Nigeria Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (NASME), Lagos State Chapter. S.A. Aderoju is married with children.
